The US has reportedly proposed a temporary ceasefire with Iran and is looking to revive a previous memorandum of understanding (MoU), with talks also expected to cover Yemen, according to sources.
The move comes as Washington looks to ease tensions after days of heightened military exchanges across the region.
However, sources indicate that Iran is unlikely to accept the proposal, with Tehran reportedly still claiming it is not ready to resume negotiations under the current conditions.
